My little Jack had his very first Christmas performance for kindergarten Friday morning! And it literally melted my heart! He and all the kids sang and did actions to the songs and they did all so well! I was proud of my little guy! It was so so cute! The theme was Christmas around the World! The Feliz Navidad song was so fun! I can't believe my little man is growing up!
We attended our Ward Christmas Party on Saturday, the food was yummy and the program was beautiful! The cupcakes were super yummy too, we had kids coming to our table to trade theirs hehe! Chloee really was just waiting for Santa! So we got in line to see him!
Smarty pants Jack says, "that is not the real Santa!" All I could think of was Elf, "You sit on a throne of lies!" Needless to say Jack was a bit shy and unimpressed! Chloee however jumped on his lap and before he could ask her what she wanted, says "I want a Lalaloopsy Treehouse!" The only part that bummed her out was she thought Santa would have it for her right then and there! Was a great night :) I love Christmas Time!
So we were getting ready for church and Chloee was dressed except for her hair being done! She went to play in her room, comes back with her John Deere hat on, lipstick in one hand and a phone in the other! Looks at me and says, "I'm Pretty!" It was adorable!
Jack had an asthma attack a few nights ago so we let him sleep in and I took him to school after Chloee went! He was so thrilled by this to walk her up to class, he told me to wait in the car! What an awesome big brother!
Me: Chloee what did you learn at school!
Chloee: We learned about baby Jesus!
Me: What did you learn about him?
Chloee: Camels!
Haha I laughed so hard!
2 friday nights ago we took the kids to the Surprise city Tree lighting and block party! We had never been but it was so fun, a great family night! Jack was thrilled with a giant snickers Wade bought him! The kids also got light up swords, which was a big highlight for them! The hot air balloons were pretty awesome, the heat they gave off was nice too! We walked around saw a few people we knew and just had fun! We saw the Paratroopers practically land right in front of us and ended the night with the firework show! You know it was a good night when Chloee crashed before the fireworks and on the way home Jack kept thanking us and telling us how fun it was!
