Electric Parade, bring on the rain!

We recently attended the 25 annual APS electric light parade for the first time!  We had chairs, warm jackets and 2 big huge blankets!  And thank goodness we had blankets because it rained!  Despite the rain we had so much fun!  Mickey Mouse came all the way from Disneyland to be the grand Marshall.  I didn't get to many pictures because of the rain!  The kids had an absolute blast and we lucked out to have front row seats!  It was such a great family event for us, we were all snuggled up together under our blankets so we kept pretty warm.  I actually didn't mind the rain at all, neither did anyone else.  After it ended with Santa we walked backed to our car as quick as we could!  And topped a wonderful night off with a trip to QT and some hot chocolate!

Christmas is coming!

We got our house all decorated!  I have to say it was super fun this year with the kids being a little older!  They had a ball decorating.  Now they are super excited for Santa to come.  We are staying home this year and I think it is going to be awesome!  Plus I got my Christmas shopping done last month, so no stress for me! Yahoo!  The picture of the gifts are to Wade and Chloee from Jack.  We went to his little holiday store at school and he was so excited to buy gifts for them and boy he is dying to tell them what he bought!  I love Christmas Time!

Phoenix Zoo!! Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my!

When everyone was up for Thanksgiving, we ventured out to the Phoenix Zoo!  It was so much fun, I hadn't been since I was super young!  My kiddos had a blast!  We walked around to all the animals, kids loved having cousins with them and of course Grandma and Grandpa!  I have to say I like it way more than the wildlife Zoo, mainly because the roads are paved and not dirt!  Chloee and Jack loved everything except for petting horses!  I am sure we will return soon!  Chloee and Reagan were so tired when we got back they took a nap on Papa!

Happy Thanksgiving

So I wrote this post once but when I went to publish it, it deleted itself!  So here I go again!  I love Thanksgiving and really any holiday that allows me to have my family around!  I love the noise, laughter, kids going crazy, shopping and food!  Thanksgiving was at my house this year and even though my house is a disaster afterwards, I would not change it for anything! It is all worth it to me!  My parents, Tim and Katie, Seth and Heather, Lissa, Dru's family and Sarah's family were all in attendance!  We really missed all those that couldn't come!! We ate tons, watched kids play, laughed and hung out.  Friday we went to the Phoenix Zoo (that is another post)!  Saturday we attempted Hobby Lobby and the mall, but had kids!  So instead we ate at Fuddruckers and went home.  I did find fabric for the baby's room! Yeah!  We stayed up late, laughed, watched reruns of the Office!  I am always a little sad when it comes to an end and everyone has to go home!  The kids were to, they loved having kids to play with and family here!  I am truly grateful for the wonderful family I have, so blessed to have best!
