POTTY TRAINING!

Okay so I could not get a good picture of Jack in his new underwear! We are officially potty training, so far it is better than i thought it would by a long shot. So we started yesturday evening about 5, the day before Jack and I went to the store and bought his underwear and he was so excited cause the have cars and the other ones have baseballs etc. So he finally went pee in the toilet about 5 yesturday and we put his underwear on him after that. And lo and behold he went pee in the toilet up until he went to bed then we put his diaper on him. This morning he woke up we put his underwear on him and he has gone pee in the toilet all day long no accidents knock on wood, we only used one pull up thats amazing for Jack. Let me back up first we took his favorite sippy away because he used to drink no joke about 35 sippies a day we were going through diapers every hour and a half after he got over the initial shock of the sippy he has done great. The only issue we have had so far today is the wonderful poop issue which was not even that bad. I knew he had to go this afternoon so i kept trying to explain he has to sit down for poop not stand like when you pee. Well he was in the bathroom for a bout 1 min by hisself and he came out we put his underwear on and i kept smelling poop. His underwear were clean, so i go in the bathroom and there was a little log on the floor hahah. Luckily it was in the bathroom and he had just left it there. so we had to have a big talk about sitting down to pee. haha honestly though i hope he keeps this up hes doing great and we are so proud of him, we have an m&m potty jar and sticker chart and it has down wonders he loves it and he gets so excited every time he goes. With any luck he will be potty trainied before our little girl is born in september and we wont have to buy diaper for two...whoo hooo wish us luck.

I just have a quick story today, but it was really cute and funny! So Jack's fever jumped to about 102.4 last night so I had Wade give him a blessing before we went to bed. We were all sitting on our bed and Wade began the blessing with Jackson Wade Matheson and Jack goes huh what. He apparently thought Wade was trying to talk to him it was so funny we busted up laughing and had to start all over again.

Random Things!

Yesterday and then today! Yesterday Wade had a late meeting for work at the baseball game, i know sounds like a rough meeting right haha, anyway he didn't get home till almost 10. So Jack and I had some fun, First Jack was trying to be a daredevil and ride his bike on his trampoline it was pretty funny and he thought he was the coolest, however in the first picture the funny part is the tv with the iud commercial on..whoops! So then of course Jack wanted to get in the water, we played in the hot tub for about 30 mins, then he had his bath and went to bed. I got freedom and peace for a couple hours until wade got home. So after Wade and I finally went to bed, Jack comes in our room about 12am burning up with a fever. I thought of wonderful. So this morning he still has like 100.8 fever but no cough, cold, he keeps telling me nothing hurts, so im hoping its just a virus because we go to utah in 3 days and everyone knows how fun it is to travel with a sick child. The funny thing is i wouldnt let him play with his friend Bailey this week because she had a cold and i didn't want him to get sick before we left. Well now he is sick anyway and he could have had fun! Good times.!

Hot tubs and Playdough!!!

So lately Jack has been a little water worm when it comes to pools, our hot tub, the ocean, However he does not care for sprinklers very much go figure! We of course turn the heat way down so we do not burn our son, but he loves it. He uses the filters to jump to Wade its very cute. When the jets are on he copies the fish from finding Nemo and says "bubbles bubbles bubbles, my bubbles." It's funny because we watch that movie and Dalmations daily, i can quote them and im sick of them!

So Jack got playdough for his birthday from Ashley and Bailey and family and he loves it. Thanks! Actually it's fun and it keeps him busy for a while, I won't lie I even played with it with him for a while, hence the star on his head. I think they make playdough better now because i remember as a kid it would get everywhere and stick to everything and this stuff does not at all they must of improved it its great. And last but not least Wade was trying to get Jack to dance to a song, he would dance and sing until we took a picture, so we just have Wade Dancing.
